The best part about my career is how my training as a graphic designer has come into play more often than not. As much as I enjoy the organisation, strategy, communication and campaign work, design is still very much a key player. I have the added advantage of knowing how the design and production process works when working with agencies, I can jump in and provide creative consultation or knock up a good-looking comms piece.
Photography or PhotoShop, Illustrator or HTML templates, CMYK or RGB, EPS or TIFF? These are value-added skills and knowledge that I have been able to apply effectively from one project to another.
